We don’t sell coffee.  We serve happiness!

Our mission is to share the joy that a cup of coffee can give to others.

 

Creating happiness in a customer starts with exceeding their basic expectations. To achieve this, we must first identify what our customers expect, then set policies to go above and beyond

JOE’S CUSTOMERS EXPECT:

1.     Genuine Friendliness-

Customers expect us to be friendly and attentive to their needs.

                                                 i.     This means that we speak to our customers as we would speak to our friends

1.      Greeting the customer by saying “Hi Friend”

2.      Speaking in plain, easily understandable words. No pretentiousness!

3.      Assist and be helpful in recommendations, and any other assistance

4.      Treat all people with respect

5.      Know your customer's name.

2.     Fast Service

Joe’s customers are on the go and expect to be served quickly and accurately

                                                 i.     Follow all operational procedures, know your job, and perform it well.

                                               ii.     Get the easy orders done fast and first 

                                              iii.     Keep all average serve times under 70 seconds per car.

                                              iv.     If an order is taking longer than expected, then

1.      Communicate with customers the status of their order

2.      Ask the customer to pull forward

3.     Cleanliness/ Organization

Our Customers expect to visit a clean, sanitary, and organized store.

                                                 i.     This means that we are diligent in the daily cleaning of the store and the outside area.

                                               ii.     The store is in good repair with signage, paint, and facilities.

                                              iii.     The store is organized with no clutter and no unauthorized signage

4.     Consistent Quality.

Customers expect to have an excellent-tasting food and drink that is consistent every time

                                                 i.      All recipes and guides are to be followed at all times with no exceptions

                                               ii.     Every Teammate is trained and certified in all procedures

5.     Correct Order

Customers expect to get the correct product and the way they want it prepared.

                                                 i.     Employees certified in and diligent in following order-taking procedures

                                               ii.     Repeating and verifying orders with all customers

                                              iii.     Using established tools to print, verify, and identify orders

6.     Having Items in stock

Customers expect that if we have an item that is on the menu, then it should be available to purchase.

                                                 i.     If an item is not available, then it is immediately removed from all digital and online menus

7.     Accurate Information

Our customers expect that we are open when we say we are

                                                 i.     Having proper hours posted in-store, online, and in the app.

8.     Be part of the community.

Our Customers want to do business with people who help support the things that they hold dear

Every employee is authorized and empowered to use whatever company resources within $20 to make it right. If the customer is happy, then you will never be wrong.
